There is enough space for a wheelchair user to move throughout the bathroom and do a complete turning radius for easy access to the bathroom.
The door to the bathroom swings out to not cut into the vanity space and allows for more space for a wheelchair to move through.
The vanities have different heights to accommodate a person with a wheelchair and ensure they have access to the vanity and sink.
There is enough room for someone with a wheelchair to have space under the cabinet for the front wheels and footplate of the chair.
There is no raised lip around the shower to make it easy for a wheelchair user to enter the shower without raising the wheels, which can be a fall risk.
The height of the toilet makes it easy to transfer from the wheelchair to the toilet.
Garb bars are installed throughout the bathroom to make it safer for wheelchair users or the elderly to safely maneuver around the bathroom without needing assistance and with no fall risk. The wall is blocked off so that more grab bars can be installed in the future if needed.
