Rain has been chasing rice farmers out of their fields. Jeremy Craton, a farmer in Evangeline Parish, had a small patch of field left to harvest when storms rolled in. He returned the next day to finish. LSU AgCenter rice specialist Johnny Saichuk says harvest is behind schedule because of all the rain.
