The 2022 Northwest Region Beef and Forage Field Day was held at the Red River Research Station in Bossier City on Thursday, April 28. Registration began at 8:30 AM. Producers heard talks on how to manage fertilizer costs, forage options, weed control options and an herbicide update, cattle identification solutions and record keeping, and cattle market update and outlook. The event included lunch followed by a panel of producers discussing how they market beef directly to the consumer.
The 2022 Northeast LA Beef and Forage Field Day will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at J&S Cattle (6511 Mer Rouge Rd, Bastrop, LA). Registration begins at 8:30 AM.

The 2022 Spring Acadiana Beef Cattle and Forage Field Day was held at the Iberia Research Station in Jeanerette on Saturday, March 12th.

The 2021 Southwest Louisiana Beef Cattle Field Day was held September 18, 2021 at the Kinder Livestock Auction.
Presentations included nutrition, herd health, tractor implements, weeds and forages, farm inputs, and a Pig Brig demonstration.
