Mr. Jamey Allemond was a dedicated and pivotal adult volunteer in St. Martin Parish where he participated in a plethora of 4-H activities.
Leonard began as a 4-H club leader in 1964 and moved to St. Martin Parish in 1968. He served as school club leader at St. Martinville for 23 years until1990.
Dr. Jackie Simon has served St. Martin Parish as a 4‑H member, a club leader, a Livestock Project leader, and in 4-H capacities for the past 18 years.
St. Martin Parish. Year Inducted: 2008. Conrad Gauthier was one of the most influential 4-H agents in St. Martin Parish during his 25-year career. A scholarship fund, which has benefitted 98 4-H members, was established in 1977 to recognize his accomplishments.
St. Martin Parish. Year Inducted: 2008. Charles A. Fuselier is a 4-H alumnus and active supporter of the 4-H program. During his career as sheriff, he seldom encountered a former or current 4-H member in trouble. A parish scholarship was developed in his honor in 2002.
St. Martin Parish. Year Inducted: 2013 Linda Theriot has dedicated 46 years of service as a volunteer leader in St. Martin Parish (1967-2013). Her philosophy is to provide hands-on learning experiences for members. A trademark of the club meetings are project talks by members developing communication skills and project mastery. One of her greatest accomplishments each year is that 100% of the members complete their projects and submit portfolios.
St. Martin Parish. Year Inducted: 2012. For more than 70 years (1940-2012), Elsie Castille has been involved in the St. Martin Parish 4-H program as a member, 4-H agent, home economist, advisory board member, 4-H Foundation president, donor and volunteer.
St. Martin Parish. Year Inducted: 2013. Rebecca Clark attributes her eight years of involvement in St. Martin Parish as the foundation for her volunteer work. She has served the 4-H program (1986-2013) as an organization leader, advisory committee member, chaperone and Junior Leader volunteer leader. Rebecca’s enthusiasm, fun and educational programming efforts consistently make her club have the largest parish enrollment.
