Mrs. Trina LaCour has been an instrumental part of Desoto Parish 4-H since her junior high and high school years.
Desoto Parish. Year Inducted:2016. Mr. Andy Loftus has served as a Desoto Parish 4-H member and 4-H volunteer for over 47 years.
Desoto Parish. Year Inducted: 2008. Beverly Bruce was an extension home economist and later a member of the Louisiana Legislature, where she championed the 4-H character education programs. She was instrumental in establishing 4-H Day at the Capitol, which was held for the 6th year in 2008.
Parish: DeSoto/Caddo. Year Inducted: 2014. “Momma Lynn” Farrar, as she is affectionately known, has a special love for 4-H since she became a club member in 1957. She has a special interest in small livestock projects because they are more financially friendly and accessible to youth. Her passion is poultry, and she has worked with youth and new agents throughout the Northwest Region.
DeSoto Parish. Year Inducted: 2010. Johnny May’s 71 years of contributions to DeSoto Parish 4-H have been memorable and lasting. He was a 4-H member and a 4-H parent, leader and fundraiser.
