Hall of Fame

he Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame was created in 2008 during the 100th Anniversary of Louisiana 4-H. The Hall of Fame annually recognizes up to twelve outstanding 4-H volunteers, leaders, and/or Extension retirees who have dedicated themselves and service to the youth of the 4-H program and our state.

Want to recognize a Louisiana 4-H champion?

Nominations are accepted annually. The timeline for nominations starts in the fall. If you know of a volunteer, supporter, or retiree that should be recognized, contact your Parish 4-H Agent.

  • December - January: Nominations Open
  • February: Nominations scored
  • April: Honorees announced during National Volunteer Appreciation Week
  • Celebrate: Those selected are announced in April and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in ceremony at Camp Grant Walker in August.
