5 medium apples ¼ cup water 1 cup sugar ½ teaspoon cinnamon ½ cup margarine, melted ½ cup oatmeal ½ cup flour ½ teaspoon baking powder |
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Pare apples and slice into thin slices; place in a 8x8x2-inch casserole dish. 3. Sprinkle the water, ½ cup of sugar and the cinnamon over the apples. 4. Combine the remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread the mixture over the apples. 5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until apples are tender. |
