Heads of Termites

Drywood termite: head rectangular, teeth on mandibles.

Native subterranean termite: head rectangular, no teeth on mandibles, small fontanelle.

Formosan subterranean termite: head teardrop-shaped, no teeth on mandibles, large fontanelle.
