Are you looking for a licensed contractor to help with a building or restoration project? The rebuilding registry is a free service that may be able to help.
Using the registry is simple, but it will take a little time to enter information you'd like to share with prospective contractors about your project(s). Use the Step-by-Step Instructions on this site for creating an account, finding a contractor, inviting a contractor to "look" at your project or rating a contractor's performance.
Here's what you do....
Sign up using the Create an Account link, below
If you don't have an e-mail account you can get one free from Yahoo or Google. Or you can create a username that is not your e-mail address.
Complete your profile - Give the Registry Manager information about yourself. This information is not shared with other users.
Enter information about your project - Give your project a name and choose the type of project (new or remodel). Provide details that would be of interest to a contractor -- such as size and foundation type -- on the "Details" tab. Tell prospective contractors what progress you have made on planning and construction -- using the "Progress" tab.
Search for contractors by service -- Use this feature to find contractors who want to work in your parish and who provide the construction services you need. You can bookmark contractors or contact them immediately.
Messages you send to prospective contractors are stored in your Sent box. Replies will be stored in your Inbox. If you provide an e-mail address to the Registry, the contractor replies will be forwarded to that e-mail account.
Rate a contractor -- You can share your experience with contractors that have worked for you. Find the contractor using the "Search by Name" feature and rate the contractor. You can rate each contractor only once.
