Module 3 – Marketing Your Child Care Business – In this module you will learn about marketing strategies required to effectively promote and market a child care business.
Module 4 – Keeping Track of Your Child Care Finances – This module helps you gain awareness of financial policies, strategies and practices required to effectively operate a child care business.
Module 9 – Health Service to the Child – This module will increase you knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to health services to children in a licensed child care center setting.
Module 10 – Emergencies – Training participants will become aware of written policies and procedures related to the care of children in times of emergency.
Module 7 – Safety Requirements and Water Activities – In this module you will become aware of child safety practices in the child care center setting.
Module 8 – Transportation and Field Trips – You will become familiar with licensing regulations pertaining to general and daily transportation of children, field trips and non-vehicular excursions with children.
Module 6 – Physical Environment - Gain knowledge of indoor and outdoor space requirements, crib safety standards and regulations and protective floor and playground coverings in child care center settings.
Module 5 – Food Service and Nutrition – Training participants will learn about rules and regulations pertaining to food service and nutrition. You will increase your understanding of the relationship between nutrition and child development and discover how to create a developmentally sound feeding environment for young children.
Module 4 – Supervision and Child/Staff Ratios – This module will help you gain knowledge of child care supervision regulations, required child/staff ratios and group size requirements.
Module 3 – Staff Records, Qualifications, Development and Training – In this module you will increase your understanding of required staff needed to run a child care program, criminal record check procedures, mandatory employee documentation and knowledge about type and amount of staff training required.
Module 2 – Recordkeeping – This module will increase your knowledge of child care center recordkeeping required by center licensing regulations (30 minute training credit).
Module 1 – Administrative Policies and Procedures – In this module you will become aware of written policies and procedures related to the care of children in licensed centers (1 hour training credit).
