Nutrient Management & Conservation Practices Survey

Ernest Girouard, Davis, Debra T., Adusumilli, Naveen

The LSU AgCenter is collecting information regarding best management/conservation practices used on Louisiana farms in crop, animal and aquaculture production.

For the purpose of this survey, best management practices (BMP's) include all agricultural inputs and strategies that optimize crop, animal and aquaculture production, but reduce the impact of these production systems on the local environment. There are numerous practices including conservation tillage, precision pesticide and fertilizer application methods, and animal waste management tactics that are considered as BMPs.

If you grow field crops, raise livestock or are involved in an aquaculture operation in Louisiana, please take a few minutes to tell us about your farming practices. This data will be used to establish a benchmark for current practices.

If you do not have a field crop, animal or aquaculture operation in Louisiana, please do not complete this survey.

You may also receive this survey via direct email or hard copy mail. Please complete it only one time.
