Our regional forestry forums are back live and in person in 2022! Some of these forums will also be hybird so that audiences can join online in person, if they prefer. The programs for each forum will be posted on the LSU Forestry and Wildlife Extension Facebook page and we can send them to you via email upon request.

Description: A full day of resources and educational opportunities for forest landowners and industry partners in the Ark-La-Tex region. Guest speakers will provide a wide range of information including current market and political issues, new mills entering the region, landowner incentives, and much more. A BBQ lunch will be provided and vendors will on hand to help with all your land management needs.
We have two options for participation this year. Option 1 is the traditional in-person event at LSU Shreveport complete with vendors, lunch, and giveaways. Option 2 is our new virtual option. This option will allow you to join us online to watch the program and post questions to our presenters, or, if you are busy that day, you can watch the recorded presentations at your convenience after the event. Online participants will be entered into a drawing to receive gift cards donated by our vendors. No matter if you choose to join us in person or online, if you need continuing education credits as foresters or loggers you will receive credits once you complete the end of event survey.
