Welcome

The Sugarcane Breeding and Quantitative Genetics Lab is led by Dr. Brayden Blanchard and is housed at the LSU AgCenter Sugar Research Station in St. Gabriel, LA. This program was developed to enhance the Louisiana Sugarcane Variety Development Program (LSVDP) with innovative approaches in breeding to aid in producing elite sugarcane cultivars for the Louisiana industry.
