Use existing degree programs at LSU in building concentrations in sustainable energy
with a focus on the southeastern United States. Develop shortcourses to be
offered directly to stakeholders.
Develop an activity-safety resources map, drawing on well-developed, existing resources on health and safety in both the farming-related activities and the pilot plant operation-related activities.
A key for the success of our students is introducing them both to the current science and practice and to the leaders in the field.
The Center for Energy and Environmental Studies, a division of the Office of Research and
Strategic Initiatives at Southern University, sponsors a math, science, and reading Summer
Enrichment Camp for K-8 students.
