Bobby Soileau is the director of Ag Leadership for the LSU AgCenter. He has directed Agricultural Leadership Development Program since 2007. In addition, he has conducted leadership programing for LSU AgCenter-College of Agriculture faculty.
As a communicator, he enjoys helping others to speak up for what they are passionate about agriculturally. Ultimately, he wants the graduates of the Ag Leadership program to become well informed spokespeople for Louisiana agriculture.
He has served as an officer and board member of numerous organizations in agriculture and rural development. In addition, he is a member of the International Association of Programs for Agricultural Leadership (IAPAL).
He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in agricultural education and leadership from Louisiana State University. In addition, he has a B.A. in broadcast journalism from LSU and worked as a producer and director of advertising and live events for WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge for nearly 15 years.
He was honored to receive three awards from people he respects and serves. They are the Achievement Award from the Louisiana County Agricultural Agents Association, the Agricultural Communicator of the Year from the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation, and the Outstanding International Leadership Program Director from IAPAL.
Cortni Bell, Program Specialist
Cortni Bell is a native of Baton Rouge. She graduated from Parkview Baptist High School and from River Parishes Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Drafting & Design degree. At home, she is Mom to Riley, 22, a graduate of LSU College of Engineering and Brayden 15, a student at Denham Springs High School. Their favorite travel spots are the beaches in Alabama and Florida. They are also avid Walt Disney World visitors. For the past 5 years, Cortni worked on the corporate side of a local to Louisiana food delivery company but is excited to start a new journey with LSU Ag Leadership. She has a passion for marketing, technology and travel.
