The fireplace has a sealed combustion chamber allowing it to vent directly outside. A dual chamber flue system brings in cold air in one chamber and expels exhaust through the other. The key benefits of direct vent fireplaces are that it vents through the side of the home, increases heating efficiency, improves safety, uses outside air for combustion, and keeps the home warmer.
The fire is sealed from the room and visible through a glass window. This allows you to have the aesthetic and ambiance of a fireplace without the hazard of smoke.
Ceramic logs give a nice wood look while not burning up and create no mess.
