The threshold is wide enough to fit a wheelchair or a walker to ensure that people who use mobility assistive devices have access to all parts of the home.
Bedside switches are a safer and more convenient way to turn on the lights in the bedroom. Moving through a dark room trying to find a light switch on the wall can be dangerous, especially for older individuals. Having a switch within arm’s reach eliminates this risk. Additionally, traditional light switches are often placed too high on a wall, out of reach for someone in a wheelchair. Low switches near the bed make the switches easier to reach, especially for those with limited mobility.
The automation monitor allows you to check all your home’s automatic systems like the lights and alarms from the comfort of your bedroom. This is a great feature for those with limited mobility as they can turn off any light from one room. It also improves the safety of the home as it can be connected to the alarm system to monitor the safety of the home from the bedroom.
