Low-e, insulated, vinyl frame casement

Vinyl Frames are the cheapest window frame option in LaHouse while still being incredibly energy efficient. While they are less durable than fiberglass, they are highly resistant to water damage which makes them a great option for a bathroom. They are also available in a variety of options.

Low-e glass means the heat contact on the exterior side of the windows does not radiate inside the home.

Hurricane shutter, decorative, side hinge

These are functional shutters that are impact rated to protect windows during hurricanes.

Having permanent fixtures, like the shutters, prevents the hassle of preparing a home before a storm. Instead of buying supplies to board up windows, shutters are quickly closed and latched to provide superior protection.

Northern daylight (no west sun)

This room has no western-facing windows to prevent direct sunlight from entering, which can cause excessive heating during the day.
