The cubbies provide a convenient and organized space for everyone to keep their shoes and coats.
Removing your shoes at the door prevents tracking outdoor material inside, which helps keep your home cleaner and healthier. If your work or hobbies involve handling any toxic materials, removing your shoes before entering is a great way to ensure these materials do not enter the home.
The stop-n-drop family foyer offers a place to put down and organize keys, jackets, school bags, or sports equipment. The wood used in the foyer storage is from a local Louisiana sweet gum tree which is very durable.
The built-in file organizer helps keep important files and documents organized and out of sight.
There are designated closets for coats and cleaning supplies near the side door. If storing toxic cleaning chemicals, a closet is more ideal than a place like under the sink as a closet door can be easily locked.
A closet near an exit is also the perfect place to store an emergency go bag to grab in case of emergency.
