What is a VPN, and why do you need it?

A VPN, or Virtual Private Network is a way to establish a secure connection to the campus network over the Internet and is required before you can use remote desktop to access your office computer remotely.

VPN Client Installation & Access

Remote Into Computer

  • Enable Remote Desktop in Settings
  • Find Host Name of Computer TO BE Remoted INTO

  • Connect to VPN
  • Use Remote Desktop Connection w/ Host Name
