- LSU AgCenter cancels sweet potato field day
(08/31/21) BATON ROUGE, La. — The LSU AgCenter has canceled the sweet potato field day scheduled for Sept. 2 at Fontenot Farms in Ville Platte. The cancellation comes as some in the industry are focused on recovery after Hurricane Ida.
The AgCenter is planning a virtual sweet potato field day in mid-September. All presentations scheduled for the in-person event will be featured in the virtual field day.
