Website Content Coordinator
Work Location: Communications Department, LSU AgCenter, Baton Rouge, La.
Job Description: Provides support and coordination for the LSU AgCenter’s internet and intranet outreach efforts and services. Provides direction in the organization and design of the web structure and in the continual reorganization, development, maintenance, visibility, and promotion of the website. Coordinates efforts of key individuals including faculty and staff in providing content, updating content, marketing, and design, and web-related content training. Works closely with both LSU AgCenter Information Technology and Communications teams to ensure that lsuagcenter.com is a vital and effective tool to find high quality research and extension information from the LSU AgCenter.
Duties
Qualification Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in mass communications, marketing or related field is required. Prior experience in web communications is preferred. The successful candidate must have strong verbal and written communications skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and be self-motived and detail-oriented.
Salary and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. The LSU AgCenter has an attractive benefits package with a wide variety of benefit options.
