East Carroll 4-H - December 2025

Junior Leaders prepared 65 toiletry kits for donation to The Simple Project in Monroe, Louisiana, as part of the 4-H Day of Service project. They also coordinated the upcoming 4-H Social, played holiday games, and planned future 4-H events.

Griffin-Southside Lower and Upper Elementary's 4th grade 4-H'ers engaged in a stimulating STEM lesson designing a Whirly Bird that replicates the seed dispersal process used in agriculture, similar to helicopter seeding.

4-H youth volunteers assisted with 4-H lessons at Griffin-Southside Lower and Upper Elementary's 1st grade Cloverbuds and 4th grade club meeting. The volunteers displayed great leadership skills while prepping and leading the activities.

4-H members at Briarfield Academy participated in a Grilling Workshop presented by 4-H Instructor Hannah Devall. Students learned food safety, meat selection, and how to safely prepare meat.

4-H hosted a Holiday Workshop where youth participants engaged in crafting holiday treats, decorated ornaments, and participated in a community service project for senior citizens all while making new friends and enjoying hot cocoa and cookies.
