More than 50 students created cards for the Veterans' Day Card Contest. The cards were distributed to veterans at the local nursing home and the Northeast Louisiana Veteran's Home.

In honor of National Homeless Awareness Month, the Henderson Project 4-H Community Club partnered with The Simple Project to provide and serve meals and spread compassion to Monroe's homeless and less fortunate. The youth served 60 to 70 individuals including children and adults.

Addison and Natalie Brown represented East Carroll Parish in Louisville, Kentucky at the North American International Livestock Exposition, the country's largest all-breed, pure-bred livestock show.

A stargazing event was held at the East Carroll Parish Library. 4-H members had roasted hotdogs and marshmallows, made S'mores and rocket ship fruit kabobs, and gazed at the stars.
