The Junior Leadership Club kickoff was a success. Officers were elected, games played, prizes won, and club activities planned for the year. Backpacks were donated by Adrian Nelson of A&D Helping Hands. We're off to a great start!

East Carroll Junior Leaders participated in a community event with Madison Parish 4-H. They led youth activities, engaged in physical activity through line dancing, and attended an informative panel discussion on community issues.

East Carroll 4-H received STEM kits from SCILS - Region 8 Louisiana STEM Center which will be utilized for upcoming 4-H programming initiatives.

More than 80 youth and their families from East Carroll and Tensas parishes participated in outdoor exploration activities at Lake Bruin State Park. Activities included canoeing, kayaking, swimming, outdoor games, and socializing with peers. The event was made possible through the REI Cooperative Action Fund. This organization is dedicated to assisting groups that strive to create a more equitable outdoors for everyone.
