East Carroll 4-H - May 2025

Lake Providence's own Dede Dunham and East Carroll Parish 4-H Alum was on hand at the East Carroll Parish Library where she read her book "Adventurous Beau: My First Crawfish Boil." East Carroll 4-H was invited to lead a session on Louisiana Commodities - Crawfish.

4-H Agent Lekeisha Lucas received the SCILS Tonya Oaks Smith Innovation and Transformation Award for East Carroll Parish, presented by SCILS Region 8 Louisiana STEM Center. Congratulations Ms. Lucas!

Despite rain and cool temperatures, everyone seemed to have a great time at Lake Providence Levee Festival. There was great music, food, local vendors, and fun games provided by LSU/SU AgCenter promoting physical activity.
