In honor of Martin Luther King Day of Service, Regional Leadership Board Members donated shirts to make doggy tug toys for donation to a local animal shelter.

In recognition of Martin Luther King Day of Service, the Henderson Project 4-H Community Club assembled toiletry kits for distribution to The Simple Project in Monroe, Louisiana supporting the local homeless population.

Southside Elementary 4th grade club meeting focused on healthy eating habits with MyPlate, creating MyPlate bracelets and classifying foods into the five food groups.

Briarfield Academy 4-H Club Officers led an engaging and exciting 4-H meeting where members utilized teamwork to design and build a light up name badge using LED lights, batteries, and copper tape as part of the Paper Circuit Design Challenge.

BA High School 4-H Club Officers led their monthly meeting featuring a Health Rocks lesson on "Using My Strengths," where members identified their strengths and analyzed how their personal strengths align with potential career opportunities.

At the monthly meeting of the 4-H & HYPE Teen Leadership Club, they prepared toiletry kits in honor of Martin Luther King Day of Service which will be donated to The Simple Project in Monroe, Louisiana to support the homeless. The youth also voted on their self-designed T-shirt designs and attended a king cake demonstration presented by Carolyn Robinson and Theresa Bonner with Souther University AgCenter. The meeting ended with 4-H U and community service project information and door prizes.

4-H members who attended the parish 4-H Wind Power Workshop were given the opportunity to participate in the 2025 KidWind Challenge at ULM where they designed and constructed wind turbine blades, tested wind velocity, and built wind powered cars. As a bonus, former 4-H members Cadence, Madison, Dylan, and Milton stopped to support the youth.
