East Carroll 4-H - September 2024

East Carroll Parish 4-H was represented at the EC Juvenile Justice Summit by a General Trass 4-H Club Leader and two GTHS Jr. Leaders. Pictured are Heavenlee, Mrs. Biaster George, Judge Laurie Brister - Division B, 6th Judicial District, and JaKayla.

Three 4-H'ers from General Trass High School represented the East Carroll Parish 4-H Sewing Club and instructed volunteers in a hands-on project, while providing opportunities for networking with regional youth through engaging educational sessions.

Northeast Region Challenge Camp 2024 - Campers reconnected with old friends, made new friends, flew drones, ziplined, had team building experiences, learned about Louisiana Wetlands, built shelters, swam, and participated in service projects.

Southside Elementary 4th and 5th grade 4-H'ers learned the 4 Bs of Pollination: bees, bats, butterflies, and birds and the vital role they play in our food supply and sustainability.
