Ms. Lucas attended the 2024 LAE4-HYDP Convention where she presented two posters showcasing 4-H programs conducted in East Carroll Parish. While there, Ms. Lucas was recognized for her 10 years of service with the LSU AgCenter. Congratulations!

Ulaila Martin, president of the East Carroll Parish 4-H Junior Leader Club, represented 4-H at the East Carroll Parish Library during an event with the Children's Coalition.

4-H and HYPE Teen Leadership Club held its annual kick-off meeting to plan a year of community service and leadership activities. The meeting was attended by more than 30 teens. The club honored graduating scholarship recipients (former junior leaders) and award winners before they left for college.
