The goal of the General Trass Senior High 4-H Club Comfort Closet Toiletry Drive is to offer hygiene products to students in need and to promote a culture of giving in our community and among students. Donated items may be given to Mrs. Biaster George at GTHS or dropped off at the 4-H Office. Items needed: deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, mouthwash, body wash, feminine hygiene products, lotion, flushable wipes, shampoo
Scott Foundation Scholarship applications are due by April 1. Submit completed application by 4:30 p.m. to the 4-H Office.

The 4-H Dairy Billboard contest is open to all 4-H members 4th-12th grades. Deadline for submission is March 25. Your billboard must be on 22 x 28-inch poster board. It must promote milk and milk products – tell about healthy eating with dairy. Do not attach anything to the poster that is more than ½ inch thick. All entries must be properly tagged with a label. See your 4-H leader or Mrs. Powell to get a label. Important: Do not use commercial brands of products on the poster and do not use jingles, slogans, signs, or pictures that are trademark or copyright protected.
Division I – 4th, 5th, & 6th grades; Division II – 7th & 8th grades; Division III – 9th-12th grades
First-place winners will receive a rosette ribbon and $10.
The 4-H Beef Poster Contest is open to all 4th-12th grade 4-H’ers. Deadline for submission is March 25. Your poster must be on 22 x 28-inch white poster board only. Do not attach anything to the poster that is more than ½ inch thick. All entries must be properly tagged with a label. See your 4-H leader or Mrs. Powell to get a label. Important: Do not use commercial brand names or products on the poster; do not portray negative images of other food products such as pork, chicken, turkey, etc.; and do not use jingles, slogans, signs, or pictures that are trademark or copyright protected.

Applications for the 4-H Golden Clover Award for Junior 4-H members will be due on April 1. A club member may win the award only one time.
The purpose of this award is to encourage project growth and to recognize a broad program of 4-H club members who have shown outstanding leadership ability in their club and parish. A club member may win the award only one time.

Let’s get ready for 4-H Summer Camp!
4-H members who were 13 years of age before January 1 are eligible to attend 4-H University. 4-H’ers can experience an exciting week on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge. This event will give students the opportunity to compete in contests, explore the LSU campus and visit academic departments. 4-H U will be held June 21-24. The total cost is $95. A deposit of $50 is due by May 1.
