Disability Awareness is our state and parish service-learning focus for the 2020-2021 year. Opportunities will be offered for you to participate in our statewide focus. Let's get busy making a difference in our community and state.
The East Carroll Junior Leader Club made activity mats designed to safely stimulate and soothe people with Alzheimer's, dementia, or autism. The activity mats will be donated to a local nursing home facility. #LA4HDAYOFSERVICE
The 4-H Homeschool Club members presented and voted on a community service-learning project for the 2020-2021 school year. After monthly club meetings, the group will pick up litter at various locations throughout the parish to make our community better by giving back. #HANDSTOLARGERSERVICE

Feeling festive? Get in the holiday spirit by using your creativity to design a card for elderly residents in East Carroll Parish. The best part about this event is the 2-for-1 feature: a 4-H contest and a service project rolled into one! Contest entries will be forwarded to elderly Lake Providence residents in December. All members of 4-H are eligible to participate.
