2022 State Horse Show

The LSU AgCenter State Horse Show is scheduled for July 5-8, 2022 at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, Louisiana.

The possession date for exhibitors to have their horse(s) for this year's show is April 1st. Please make sure to submit your possession form to the 4-H office before this date.

The following is a list of horses that are eligible to show:

  • A registered horse in the exhibitor’s name or the name of an immediate family member (father, mother, siblings, grandparent, legal guardian)
  • Grade or non-registered horse
  • They can lease a horse from someone and complete the Lease Horse Affidavit and turn in with their entry information

The following fee schedule will apply to all exhibitors at the 2022 State 4-H and FFA Horse Show.

  • Entry fee (per exhibitor) $40
  • Stall fee (horse or tack) $20 per day

Upon arrival, stall fees must be paid to Lamar Dixon Expo Center staff at the stall office and entry fees must be paid to LSU AgCenter staff at the Show Office in the Vendor Rooms.

Entry fee checks should be made out to the LSU AgCenter Livestock Show Office for the State show. Only checks/money orders are accepted for entry fees; No cash.

Bedding can be purchased at the stall office for the state show.
