Self-Care After Being Vaccinated

Within 24 to 48 hours after being vaccinated you might experience some or all of the flu-like symptoms listed below. These are nothing to worry about, they're a sign that your body is building protection.

After being vaccinated, remember to periodically use or exercise you arm, drink plenty of fluids, take acetaminophen or ibuprofen if it's safe for you and place a damp, cold washcloth over the site of the shot. If you are worried about your symptoms, or you experience increase redness or soreness in the place where you got the shot call your doctor!
