Brittany Husser is the new East Baton Rouge Parish 4-H agent. Through this position, she will be helping to strengthen and support existing programs and community outreach efforts. Brittany was a 4-H member from the time she was eligible to be a cloverbud through high school. She believes, wholeheartedly, in the “learn by doing” environment that 4-H creates for members, and strives to implement this in each and every activity she creates.
To help prepare her for this role, Brittany worked as a student intern for the 4-H Military Partnerships Program, and as a middle school science teacher for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. She has a passion for learning, especially in the areas related to STEAM, and teaching others to love learning. Brittany holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Studies from Louisiana State University.
