Ouachita Jr. Leaders present our Spring Service Focus: Cereal Wars. Ouachita 4-H is collecting boxes of cereal. Please help us meet this need! Bring all the cereal to Achievement Day to help us build a huge trail of boxes to tip over! The club with the most will get to lead the countdown & tip the first box at Achievement Day!
Join the Ouachita 4-H team! There will be 6 weekly practices & regional competition!

Come to Family Orientation to ask questions. Practices are free & optional. The competition will cost $20-$30 with shirt depending on games selected. Any 4-H member welcome. Can join 4-H to come. 8th-12th graders, this competition is the qualifier for 4-H University competition. Games include: Rocket League, Smash Brothers, Marion Cart* (Jr. Only). Join our monthly club, led by West Monroe Mayor Staci Mitchell, for hands-on lessons & activities, service projects, & fun! Each month we will meet at a new location! Compete in photography contests, portfolios, Art Crawl, & a 4-H art showcase! Participate regularly to earn a photography rewards trip!
Photography Club Registration: $20

We are still taking sign-ups for the Northern Regionals Competition! Deadline is Friday, January 31. Late registration deadline is Friday, February 14. All late registrants will pay a $10 late fee per event. You must have 8 hours range time with 4-H & hunter’s safety training to compete. Northern Regionals - February 28-March 9, 2025 at Grand Cane & Shreveport. State Competition - April 4-13, 2025 at Gonzales & Port Allen.
Come join us Monday, February 17, 9 AM - 12 PM & learn about the world of animals & the Louisiana Wetlands Habitat! Meet the 4-H group at the front gate of the zoo (1405 Bernstein Park Drive, Monroe).
Get credit for all your 4-H work! Win awards & trips! Thursday, February 20, from 5 - 6 PM at the 4-H office, come learn how to put together a record book & receive tips from some multi-time state winners. Bring your laptop if you’d like! Prepare for this workshop by making lists of your leadership, service, awards, & non-4-H work.
Entries due to the 4-H office February 28! Your entry must be made from used items that would otherwise be thrown away or recycled. There is no limitation on size or format; however, we do ask that it be safe & have no rough edges. It must also be sturdy. Please include a label with name, grade, & school. Metal, plastic, & cardboard can be used. Sponsored by: Ouachita Green.

4th-12th graders, join our afterschool Robotics Club using the Lego Spike Prime System. Learn coding, engineering, & compete with other teams! Parent & youth must sign waiver upon arrival.
Beginner club: 4-5 PM
Advanced club: 5-6 PM
