Marsh Maneuvers is a 4-H camp for high schoolers that offers hands-on learning about Louisiana's coast! Some of the unique experiences include taking a tour of the marsh in an airboat, helping restore wetlands by planting marsh grass, going crabbing, & touring the Tabasco Factory & Jungle Gardens at Avery Island.
Where: Broussard Bunkhouse, lntracoastal City, LA
When: July 3-7, 2023 & July 10-14, 2023
Who Can Attend: 4-H'ers who have completed 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade by July 3, 2023
Cost: $150 registration fee. The fee is non-refundable and covers the costs of meals, supplies, and a t-shirt. (fee does not have to be paid until after 4-H member has been invited to attend)
Eligible 4-H members will fill out and submit an on line application by the deadline. Applications will then be reviewed and scored by judges. Applicants with the highest scores will be invited to attend Marsh Maneuvers. Official invitations will be sent by email by April 24, 2023. Please note: Applicants who have not receive an invitation have not been selected to attend or as an alternate.
