- Smaller corn crop expected this year
(Video 03/08/17) Farmers across Louisiana are returning to their fields to begin their spring planting. As in most years, corn is the first crop planted, and this year’s corn acreage is expected to be much lower than recent years. LSU AgCenter correspondent Craig Gautreaux has this report.
