Nitrogen fertilizer conference set for Baton Rouge in August

(06/06/17) BATON ROUGE, La.—The LSU AgCenter will host the 15th Annual Nitrogen Use Efficiency Conference on August 7-9 at the Lod Cook Hotel and Conference Center in Baton Rouge.

The meeting is designed for individuals from academic institutions and agricultural companies, said AgCenter researcher Brenda Tubaña. Past events have included participants from Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Australia, Germany and Brazil.

Focusing on the use of nitrogen fertilizer, presenters will include representatives from the LSU AgCenter, Auburn University, Oklahoma State university, Kansas State university, the University of Arkansas, and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
