- Cenla forestry forum set for March 15 in Alexandria
(03/10/17) ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Cenla Forestry Forum presented by the LSU AgCenter is set for March 15 at the State Evacuation Shelter next to the LSU of Alexandria campus.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., and the program will begin at 9 a.m. Topics will include tax free exchanges, competitive advantages in the global market, a Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry fire protection update, higher education for forestry careers and issues facing the Louisiana forestry industry. Lunch will be provided.
Registration is $25 in advance by March 14 or $40 at the door. Checks for advance registration should be made out to LSU AgCenter and mailed to Robbie Hutchins, 300 Grady Britt Drive, Alexandria, LA 71302.
