Acadiana District Livestock Show Fair Entry deadline is December 7, 2022. District fees will also be due to the St. Landry 4-H Office around this time.

The only exception will be the ADLS Exhibition Poultry Show. Entries for exhibition birds will remain paper entries for the 2023 show. Deadline to turn in ADLS Exhibition Poultry Show entries and fees will be November 21, 2022 to the St. Landry 4-H Office.

2023 LSU State Livestock Show Fair Entry - At the completion of all district livestock shows, the link to the State Show Fair Entry portal will be released for those who qualified to register their animals.

The Parish Premier Exhibitor Contest is open to all St. Landry livestock exhibitors and does not require pre-registration. If you are interested in participating in the Acadiana District Livestock Show Premier Exhibitor Contest (7th-12th graders) and/or the State Premier Exhibitor Contest (9th - 12th graders) you must pre-register by the deadline. The Premier Exhibitor Program is designed to place emphasis and recognition on the exhibitor’s knowledge and skills in the 4-H and FFA projects. The program provides additional awards and recognition to all exhibitors at the LSU AgCenter Livestock and Poultry Show.

Youth for the Quality Care of Animals program is an annual, web-based training required for all livestock exhibitors at LSU AgCenter livestock shows. Each exhibitor will take an age specific course each year. There is a $12 annual charge for each exhibitor. The course should take approximately an hour to complete. The certification number, found on each exhibitor’s certificate which can be downloaded upon completion, will be a required field in Fair Entry for LSU AgCenter sponsored livestock shows.
