Join the LSU AgCenter for a series of five classes designed to help you cultivate a thriving garden and healthy lawn.

Class schedule:

• September 9 – Vegetables and Herbs
• September 16 – Fruits
• September 23 – Ornamental Landscape Plants
• September 30 – Lawns
• October 7 – Soil, Fertilizer, and Composting

Classes will take place from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Lee Memorial Forest Main Lodge (21139 Lee Memorial Drive, Franklinton; across Dollar Road from Our Veterans Memorial Park and the Washington Parish Communications building).

Classes are free to attend, but pre-registration is requested. To register or learn more, please contact Horticulture Agent Dr. Mary Helen Ferguson.
