The LSU AgCenter will hold a meeting for commercial strawberry growers from 9:00 AM to noon on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the LSU AgCenter’s Hammond Research Station (21549 Old Covington Hwy., Hammond).

Speakers include Dr. Micheal Deliberto of the LSU Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, Dr. Raj Singh and Dr. Chien-Yu Huang of the LSU Department of Plant Pathology and Crop Physiology, Dr. Congliang Zhou of the LSU School of Plant, Environmental, and Soil Sciences, and Dr. Mary Helen Ferguson of the LSU AgCenter. They will address enterprise budgeting, an upcoming project related to detection and management of Neopestalotiopsis disease, a robotic system for crop monitoring, fungicide resistance management, and fertility.
