Mr. Michael Dartez has spent 18 years as a vital member of the 4-H Program. During his 4-H career he served as a 4-H Club Leader, 4-H Activity Leader and a Master 4-H Volunteer. His most notable contributions to the program have been through his work with the 4-H Horse Program. He spent countless hours at horse clinics, overnight horse camps, and horse shows on all levels to educate young 4-H’ers in the many areas related to horsemanship.
Mr. Dartez has received many awards for his work within the 4-H program to include the State 4-H Horse Leader Award, 2008 Honoree at the Vermilion Parish 4-H Achievement Day as well as receiving his 15 Years of Service pin at the Annual Parish 4-H Leader Banquet.
Throughout his tenure as a Vermilion Parish 4-H leader, Mr. Dartez worked diligently to ensure a positive learning experience for everyone involved.
