Dr. Paul Coreil has been a huge part of the 4-H Program for 34 years and counting. He has had a distinguished career starting at the parish level and moving all the way up to serving as one of the top LSU AgCenter Administrators. His leadership and vision resulted in program growth and innovation. One of his most notable efforts focused on environmental conservation working to establish dynamic conservation programs like Marsh Maneuvers Program which has gone on to benefit hundreds of 4-H members over the years. Dr. Coreil’s leadership of the Louisiana 4-H Foundation Squirrel Hunt has been responsible for raising thousands of dollars to benefit 4-H environmental programs.
Dr. Coreil has received many awards for his dedication to the 4-H Program and the community he works with. He received awards like the Citizen of the Year Award, Floyd Edminston Extension Education Award and the USDA Team Award. In 1989, he was named Honorary State Legislator.
Dr. Paul Coreil has been a loyal member of the 4-H Program dedicating his time to the program and the students he loves.
