Loftus, Andrew "Andy"

Mr. Andy Loftus has served as a Desoto Parish 4-H member and 4-H volunteer for over 47 years. Throughout his time as a 4-H volunteer, he served on the Ark-La-Tex Council including a term as President. Under his leadership, the Council raised over $3.1 million for the 4-H Program and has given over $84,000 in four year scholarships and $11,000 in one year scholarships. He has served as the President of the DeSoto Parish Cattleman’s Association and the District 1 Vice President of the Louisiana Cattleman’s Association for three terms.

Mr. Loftus has received much recognition throughout his career. He has been recognized for 50 years of service in the Ag Industry in Northwest Louisiana by the Louisiana Bankers Association. He was awarded the Sonny Stinson Appreciation Award for his support of Louisiana’s Agriculture and The Land Bank.

Mr. Loftus has spent his life and career supporting Louisiana’s agriculture as well as the 4-H Program. Through his constant service, Mr. Loftus has made a massive contribution to the 4-H program.
