Mrs. Kay Stough has played a huge part in the Caddo Parish 4-H Program for 25 years and counting. She served as a Caddo Parish school teacher and 4-H club leader for 20 years. She serves on the Caddo Parish 4-H Advisory Leadership Council. She is the Executive Director of the Ark-La-Tex Ag Council and a member of the State Fair of Louisiana Board.
As a member of the State Fair Board, she has been instrumental in running the fair and the livestock show. She recruits livestock show buyers and prepares meals for the volunteers and agents working the fair. When it is not state fair season, she spends her time promoting the benefits of the Ark-La-Tex Council and coordinating the scholarship program for graduating seniors.
Mrs. Stough owns and operates Stough Farms which raises market goats. During the summer, she offers swimming lessons at a local country club.
Although a very busy woman, Mrs. Stough has made a tremendous impact on Caddo Parish 4-H Program and 4-H Programs in the surrounding parishes.
