LSU AgCenter’s Northeast Research Station staff of researchers and extension staff welcomed 5 visiting scholars from Brazil and Honduras in 2025-2026. Students worked in research and extension demonstrations related to the Patrick F. Taylor Project, EPA watershed projects and many additional trials for scientists for a year as part of their requirements for graduation. Their responsibilities included all aspects of research and demonstration plot implementation from planning, field design, soil and water management, planting, pest management, harvest, data collection and statistical analysis.
