Winn Parish 4-H Outdoor Skills 2024-25

For 4th-12th grade 4-H member - 9 yrs. and older

Shooters must be 9 by December 31st

Winn Parish 4-H Outdoor Skills 2024-25 Registration Form

Outdoor Skills will take place on 4pm at the Winn Parish 4-H Complex. Programs will last for one and one-half hours. Equipment will be provided. A rainy-day schedule will be in place in case of bad weather. Shooters selected for state competition, will have extra practices (these must be attended to participate in competition.) Shooters must have minimum of 8 hours of range time with an instructor.

All 4-H Outdoor Skills participants must complete a Hunter Safety Course to compete in Regional and State Competitions. All students that are 10 yrs. and older will receive a Hunter Safety Card. Regional dues are separate dues handed in to the coaches.

There will be a charge of $50 per person which will cover ammunition, arrows and equipment repairs. Last day to sign up is October 30. Regional fees are separate and paid to the coaches before Christmas Holidays.

**Hold Harmless Agreement must be signed and on file in the Winn 4-H office.

    4 pm Hunter Safety/Archery

The months of Jan to April disciplines will be practicing for Regional Shoot and State. Times and locations will be announced.

Coaches for each discipline will setup extra practices during these months to prepare contestants for these competitions.

Adult Must attend meeting with
4-H member at the September meeting.
