What an incredible year it has been Empowering Extension Excellence! Extension remains a cornerstone of the land-grant mission, and together, we've achieved remarkable impacts in 2024. I am profoundly grateful for your unwavering support and dedication to our programs and faculty. Thank you for the vital role you play in our success.
Extension is a community of people working together, with our mission interwoven throughout the communities we serve. Our valued partnerships enhance our reach and impact. Our agents and specialists meet you where you are every day, educating, innovating and improving the lives of those we serve. The LSU AgCenter Cooperative Extension Service empowers individuals, families and communities through research-based education, innovative solutions and outreach programs. These efforts foster sustainable agricultural practices, positive youth development, healthy communities, economic prosperity and an improved quality of life across Louisiana.
In a rapidly changing world, our extension faculty have developed and delivered programs that align with our core values as a state and a land-grant institution. They have embraced change and technologies that enhance the efficiency of information transfer and accessibility for those we serve. I am confident that we are making a positive difference in the lives of Louisiana’s citizens and beyond!
