Student interns will help us collect data on ongoing fruit and vegetable trials. They will be co-authors on trial results papers. Students will also co-author extension publications related specifically to growing summer crops. Students will gain insight into how to set up field experiments, maintain plots, collect data, and publish research. We would like to teach students to use small equipment and even to drive a tractor. We will also have students assist graduate students with data collection on their projects so that the interns gain some insight into the life of a graduate student.
